With its roots in Pinpoint Holdings, a provider of dark fiber, lit services, internet access, microwave, cable TV, and local and long distance to customers wanting advanced, high speed, networks, Pinpoint Engineering offers support of those services to small and large telecommunications companies and related industries who either don't have in-house engineering capabilities or need to react to an immediate problem.
Pinpoint Engineering has been formed by a group of key managers with origins of Level (3), US West, SDN Communications, MFS and Lamp Rynearson Consulting. Pinpoint Engineering provides outside plant engineering, switch engineering, transport engineering, project management, operations management and pre and post-sales support to Cambridge Telephone, Pinpoint Communications, Fiberlink LLC, Great Western LLC and Pinpoint Network Solutions.
Hands-on Experience
In the process of building a nationwide broadband network and several data centers, Pinpoint has assembled a top-shelf team of experienced communications engineers. Through its customers and strategic partners, Pinpoint recognized a need for those services in the market and has now formed the new unit as a means to make Pinpoint’s expertise available to other communications organizations that do not have internal engineering capabilities.
With real-life network experience learned from the day-to-day operation of Pinpoint’s network infrastructure, Pinpoint Engineering staff offer a level of hands-on knowledge that is unique in the market. Pinpoint’s engineers can do more than design data centers and network infrastructure. They have the expertise to manage and market those properties as well.
Pinpoint Engineering will offer professional services for data center, central office, network planning, RUS funding, fiber to the home/premises, tower design and management.
